Mahendra Amarasuriya became the president of The International Association of Lions Clubs during their 90th International Convention. He's received many awards for his dedicated service, like the Master Key Award, International President’s Certificates of Appreciation, and the Ambassador of Good Will Award – the highest honor in the association. House Mahendra is named after him to honor his community service. Mahendra has also earned the 100% District Governor Award, Extension Award, and the 15-Year Perfect Attendance Award. He is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow, showcasing his commitment to making a positive impact.
